I am an Assistant Professor of Instructional Technology in the Department of Teaching and Learning in the College of Education at Florida Atlantic University. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Instructional Technology. Our Masters of Education in Instructional Technology is completely online.

I embrace the philosophy of pedagogy before technology.

I enjoy working with faculty and administrative teams to create, administer and deliver meaningful and flexible learning environments. I create curriculum for learning spaces for a variety of applications including instructional technology infusion in the areas of teacher education, professional development and training. Mentoring Instructors transitioning to online and blended courses is one of my favorites things to do.

I have a certificate in Online Teaching from the Online Learning Consortium and develop and facilitate workshops including the Online Teaching Certificate 10 week foundation course, Multimodal Design, Exploring Interactive Video and Presentation Tools, and Converting your Course Content for Online. I  have developed 2 courses that have been nationally recognized by Quality Matters (QM). I facilitate workshops for QM including Peer Review Certification, Applying QM, and Teaching Online an Introduction to Online Delivery.
